Jasyn Lucas

A member of the Mathias Colomb Cree Nation, painter and visual artist Jasyn Lucas was born and raised in Manitoba. After graduating from R. D. Parker Collegiate in Thompson, MB, Jasyn moved to North Vancouver to study Studio Art at Capilano College. He has since returned to Thompson, where he enjoys engaging with the youth of his community as a motivational speaker. Although Jasyn mainly paints on canvas, he is well versed in other media such as sculpture, and is also responsible for a number of stunning murals which can be seen all over his hometown.
